Returns & Refunds Policy

At Reflections by Dave, our priority is that you’re happy with your purchase. Because we sell different kinds of products—online courses, photo tours/workshops, made-to-order prints, digital downloads, and photography services—the way refunds work depends on what you bought.

1) Online Courses (primary product)

  • 7-Day Confidence Guarantee: If the course isn’t for you, contact us within 7 days of purchase and before completing 20% of the lessons for a full refund.
  • Course access & downloads: Once more than 20% is completed or downloadable materials have been accessed, the course becomes non-refundable.
  • Bundles & coupons: Refunds apply to the course price actually paid. Bundled items are refunded as a bundle.

2) Digital Downloads (cheat sheets, eBooks, presets, etc.)

  • Digital items are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered/downloaded.
  • If a file is corrupted or incorrect, we’ll replace it promptly—just email us with your order number.

3) Photo Tours & Workshops (in Phuket)

  • Free reschedule or full refund up to 7 days before your tour date.
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 days before.
  • No refund within 48 hours or for no-shows, but we’ll try to rebook if we can.
  • Weather & safety: If we cancel due to weather or safety, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

4) Prints (made-to-order)

  • Each print is produced to order. We accept returns only for damage, defects, or misprints.
  • Report issues within 14 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and print. We’ll replace the item or refund you.
  • Minor color/brightness differences can occur between screens and paper and aren’t considered defects.
  • If a return is approved for another reason, the print must be unused, in original packaging, and you are responsible for return shipping.

5) Photography Services (custom shoots/licensing)

  • Bookings often require a deposit to secure the date. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable once if you reschedule at least 7 days before the shoot.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the shoot are non-refundable.

How to request a refund or return

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number, product, and reason.
  2. For damaged/defective items, attach clear photos.
  3. If a return is needed, we’ll provide the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back without authorization.

Processing time: Once received and approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (your bank/issuer may take longer).


Shipping for returns

  • If the return is due to our error (defect, damage, wrong item), we cover return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
  • For all other approved returns, you pay return shipping. Use a trackable service; we’re not responsible for items lost in transit.

Sale items & gift cards

  • Sale/discounted digital items follow the digital rules above (generally non-refundable once delivered).
  • Sale prints are refundable only for damage/defects.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer laws. If local law gives you additional protections, we’ll honor them.
